The Word for Writers
Looking Forward to 2005
As the 2005 approaches I have been kicking around some New Year's resolutions I might be able to live up to. I have finally come to the conclusion that it would be best to make just one resolution – a promise to do better than the year before.
Of course, there is one aspect of my “do better” resolution that I want to emphasis; I want to write more for the Lord. I want to write words that will praise His gift of salvation. I want to write words that talk about His righteousness, words that might point others to seek out the path He has forged. And I pray that I can do this while remaining humble and obedient to God’s will and laws.
It is with this in mind that I look forward to The Year Of Our Lord – 2005.

Dan, I cannot think of a better resolution than to share the gospel with others. Who knows? If just one person comes to God because of your writing about Him, then nothing was in vain. I'm sure this has been repeated time and again, but certainly in this case it is worth the reminder. Write on. And, Happy New Year.
