The world wasn't looking that distant night-
It wasn't looking as the star shone bright.
When Jesus arrived, just two were aware
A King had been born - the Savior was there.
The Word became flesh but only a few,
Joseph and Mary, were looking and knew.
Little has changed since that long ago year
And someday, again, He's going to appear.
This time, however, the whole world will know-
Who will be looking and ready to go?
Who will be looking that glorious day
When Jesus comes back to take us away?
