Faith
Each one God created to be His very own,
And some are very different from the rest.
Yet His love is so special and His blood will atone,
So through Him we can become our very best.
We’re not to judge other servants of the Lord,
Though their walk may be different from our own.
The commandment to love should not be ignored,
For haughtiness the Word will not condone.
One esteems one day as better than the rest,
Another one esteems them all the same.
We must be convinced that whatever our quest,
Making sure we walk in faith becomes our aim.
Knowledge and great faith seem very grand to me,
And to speak with tongues of angels oh how blessed.
But love is number one we just have to agree,
For our God is truly love and He’s the best.
Let’s lay down our differences and pick up on love,
Then we’ll put the old devil on the run.
As we walk in the Spirit of the heavenly Dove,
We’ll be walking in the image of His Son.
1 John 4:8—He who does not love does not know God, FOR GOD IS LOVE. Romans 13:8—Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
Romans 14:4—Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls, Indeed, HE WILL BE MADE TO STAND, for God is able to make him stand. (5) One person esteems one day above another; another esteems everyday alike. Let each be fully convinced in HIS OWN MIND. (6) He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks. (7) For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. (8) For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord; therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
Romans 14:22—Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. HAPPY IS HE WHO DOES NOT CONDEMN HIMSELF IN WHAT HE APPROVES. (23) But he who DOUBTS is CONDEMNED if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; FOR WHATEVER IS NOT FROM FAITH IS SIN.
Heb. 11:1—Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (6) But without faith IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that HE IS A REWARDER of THOSE WHO DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM.
Faith is very important if we want to see the hand of God move in our lives and the lives of our loved ones. If we want to see God’s Spirit move in our church’s we also need to have faith. Because according to the word unbelief limits what God can do.
Matt. 13:58—And He did not do many mighty works there BECAUSE OF THEIR UNBELIEF. Mark 6:5—Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on A FEW sick people and healed them. (6) And HE MARVELED BECAUSE of THEIR UNBELIEF. Heb. 4:2—For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; BUT THE WORD which they heard DID NOT PROFIT THEM, NOT BEING MIXED WITH FAITH in those who heard it. Hebrews 3:12—Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you AN EVIL HEART of UNBELIEF in departing from the LIVING GOD.
We have thought of Christ for so long as in the flesh when He walked upon the earth. As a babe in a manger, and as the Son of God who took all of our sins upon Himself as He hung and died upon the cross. Now we need to focus our attention on the risen Lord of glory. The living Word of God! It was very hard for the disciples to understand what Jesus was trying to convey to them about His flesh. Jesus said to them….
John 6:62—“What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? John 1:1—In the beginning WAS THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. John 1:14—And THE WORD became FLESH and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Returning to John 6:63—“It is THE SPIRIT who GIVES LIFE; the FLESH PROFITS NOTHING. THE WORDS that I speak to you ARE SPIRIT, and THEY ARE LIFE. Hebrews 5:16—Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE KNOWN CHRIST ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, yet NOW WE KNOW HIM THUS NO LONGER.
Our most precious Lord and Savior, we exalt thee and thy living Word above all else. We ask that You will give us eyes to see, and ears to hear, and a heart of compassion and understanding. Strengthen us in our moments of weakness and, in turn we will strengthen You by our prayers, by our praise, and by our faith and trust in You. We will hold Your word up in prayer and praise and adoration.
Give us strength and power not to lean to our own understanding, but in all things to trust in You with all of our heart. Lead us in Your word to those places that Your heart so desires us to see. Open up Your word to us and let us enter in with the Spirit as our guide. Lead us in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Encourage our hearts that we in turn may encourage one another. Give us words to soothe and comfort those in pain.
Oh Father glorify Your Word within us, and give it life and power. Strengthen it to overcome our doubts and fears, and the many obstacles we are often faced with. May the demons once more begin to tremble at Your spoken and written Word. We implore thee to cause people once again to realize just how important it is to know and understand Your Word.
May we work together with Your word and Your Spirit to take back those things which have been lost. May we work together with You to bring salvation and restoration to this dying world. As You have given us the word of reconciliation, show us how to walk and to operate in it. May we be Your hands extended to comfort, to heal, and to bless. We ask these things that You may be glorified in the earth and that all will come to know You in Spirit, truth, and in love. Praise Your glorious name, for to You is the glory and the honor and the power, forever. AMEN!
Psalm 72:15—And HE SHALL LIVE; and the gold of Sheba will be given to Him; PRAYER ALSO WILL BE MADE FOR HIM CONTINUALLY, AND DAILY HE SHALL BE PRAISED.

Wow, Sharon, you are quite a poet. Good work there, sweet lady. You know we differ on some points of theology; however, we love the same Lord, and each other. I pray you have a merry Christmas and a rapturous New Year. Much love, Lucian
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. Isaiah 43:10,11 KJV To fully agree with you in prayer, I say AMEN! Let it be done according to the Word of God as the servant of God has so outlined. Much grace and peace to you, Treava
