Blessings be to those who recieve this. Our goal is to spread the Gospel of Christ through whatever means we have been blessed with. For Christ not us. When we as the Body of Christ take away ourSELF from the equation and put Christ at the center we will see more results. We must worship as unto the Lord in the presence of others that they may be uplifted and ushered into the presence to where The Lord can have his way.
Many we feel we can bring in God's presence. Not possible! Many times we feel if we cry enough and sing enough and scream enough and have people repeat what we say and high five 10 people God will show up. God gives us his presence as a gift. He bestows unto us many things in the presence of others for his upliftment not ours. The greatest gift he has given us was His Son. He gave us his only beggoten Son. When you think of what he has given us we should worship For Christ not us.
I know it's easier to get cool points by man for leading a great worship service that makes the flesh feel good. But the flesh isn't God. If someone made me feel good inside because of their sensuous, seductive nature on the microphone, maybe I would go high five 30 poeple if he or she told me to.(taking advantage of the naive) But its time out for TRYING to be a church pimp or whore,and commiting adultery against The Lord. It's time out for worshiping to fill a hole that only Christ can fill. If Christ can't do it nobody can. Christ can do it and He will do it but we must worship FOR CHRIST NOT US.Put him on the centerstage. We must not stay quiet on this matter and sit back and watch this type of manipulation take place.
Christ is the reason and should be the motive.We should worship For Christ Not Us. AMEN
