There is a strength in you that cannot be denied
I see your daily struggles, I know how hard you try.
You wear a smile to hide the pain inside
but my beloved child, I know how much you’ve cried.
There is a strength in you that is to be admired
tho’ the endless effort to make it on your own sometimes leave you empty and tired.
You wonder sometimes how you will make it from day to day,
keep looking to me, for I will continue to make a way.
If you just trust and depend solely on me,
I promise you a brighter day, just you wait and see
Remember the fondest of memories, keep them close to your heart,
Know that the love I supply will never, never depart.
My dear child, in this life, I have so much more in store just for you,
Love, joy and peace they will see you through.
If you could see yourself as I see you, my love you would never doubt.
If you could see others as I see them, you would know what my love is all about.
Look through my eyes, look past all that the eye can see.
