Through the passage of time, God sent his Son
to go on the cross and close the deal
And today he still extends his grace
to save, to mend and heal
Did anyone ask what was the cost
Did they search the whole way through
but He did package, the best information
Then He said, what more can I do ?
The foundation was laid plain and simple
even great scholars can's miss the mark
And He made it clear for all to understand
so no one would be left in the dark
This promise He made to all the world
it wasn't written with fading ink
And with once it's taken in the heart
it will help you not to sink
His grace is calling to all by name
to stamp his love into each heart
No post-man needed to deliver the message
if they allow him of their life be a part
A bundle prepared and wrapped with love
like none you will ever know
It keeps on reaching for lives today
and He has so much to show
He came to bear every one of our burdens
and to melt away our sorrows too
He bore our pains and carried our sins
and says again, what more can I do
Seeing it that his work was completed
It was signed, sealed and sent out
and you need not worry if it will return
if you accept in your heart and not doubt
Now it's left on record these words of truth
He has extended his grace today
and He says to all what more can He do
What more can our God say ?
