Is Failure the Greatest Enemy?
As gentle as he is,
He is too cunning and
True self, he doesn't present at start.
His friends, he quietly accompanies.
Beyond comprehension, he test his friends.
Stumbling blocks he frantically puts in their ways.
He is restless until he sees them cry
And loose focus.
Their patience is rigorously tried.
He ensures their persistence expires.
All his power he exerts to frustrate their efforts
And their hope he tries to render hopeless.
Can one as 'wicked' as this be a friend?
Who plots downfall and pretends to love
Paths to success he tries to block
And instigates friends to abandon their friends.
Only if you had known him,
He is your best friend who doesn't pretend.
He helps you to be courageous and
Teaches yu the art of persistence and keeps you moving.
When finally, you pass his tests and come to your glory
You will look back in appreciation and
Realize that without failure
You wouldnt have come this far.

Failure as is generally percived and understood is not the opposite of success. Failure is an integral part of success! Failure is not falling down, it is staying down. We must have the right attitude when passing through moments of failure so that we can rise out strong and tall. Thank you for this piece. Ezekiel Olukolajo
I Love calling failure " one those disappointments" This reduces its strength and mild its threat. you can get trapped by this monster if you'd fear it just too less!
