When it comes to faith, you must not have faith in the healing alone, but in the healer Himself. Here is an illustration: let's say someone deposited a lump sum of money into your bank account that money, although legally is yours free and clear, will do you no good unless you go to the bank, the place where your money is held and withdraw it.
It is the same with healing, Jesus paid the price, and it belongs to his children free and clear but we must come to Him to receive it.
I have seen so many good people miss their healing by putting their faith in the healing itself,’ name it and claim it’ and never receive it, never realizing that it is the one in whom paid the price for them that holds the healing out to them.
Faith must be placed in Him, in Jesus. Have faith in God, and you shall see the glory of God. Jn 11 (it doesn’t say have faith in the glory of God, it says have faith in God)
When the Lord opens up your heart to the word through revelation, and scripture jumps out at you, these are the words that you must hold on to, pray them, declare them, and share them. The words are alive, and powerful. The revealed word will come by the way of faith it will never produce fear.
Christianity is not about the traditions or the formulas it is about a real relationship with Jesus Christ. As you go to Him and you wait on Him in His word, or in prayer He will speak to you.
What He says in that secret place, you then raise your voice and declare, and don’t be moved by the natural senses, or circimstances.having done all...stand!
God watches over His word to perform it.
Healing is not just something (a doctrine or theory) pulled out of the New Testament. However the ministry of healing is all through the word of God from start to finish. We see how God has always provided healing for His people. It is in the very essense of who God is; it is in the very character of God Himself. To take the healer out of God would be like trying to take the Mother or the Father out of you or me it just cannot be done because it is woven into the very fiber of our being…it is who we are. As it is with God, you cannot separate the two.
Some would say that perfect healing is when one goes home to be with the Lord.
But Apostle Paul put it this way; he said that if he went home to be with the Lord, that it would be for himself (he knew that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord), but if he stayed here on earth it would be to Gods glory, and for that reason he would choose to stay on earth for the time being, to bring glory to God.
So although it is true, to be ‘present with the Lord’ is perfection, and is our eternal purpose, our purpose now, today is to live for Christ, glorifying God in our earthly bodies.
Another thing I have witnessed over time is that the Lord brings the manifestation of His healing through different means…some He takes by the way of forgiving ourselves as well as others, some perhaps deliverance from demonic oppression, others by delivering them from unspoken grief (a deep sadness they have not truly released), and then some just by renewing their minds to Himself.
But one thing is for sure; Faith works through love. Love is the conduit for the faith to operate.
An example: if you have electricity (faith) what good is it to you if you do not have the means to tap into it and use it: that conduit for faith would be love. 1 Cor. 13
Jesus never, put sickness on anyone. His word says, that the devil came to kill, steal, and destroy-but that He came to give life and that life more abundantly.
Altough it is true thatJesus came to destroy the works of the devil, the devil may still have the weapons which he uses to intimidate, but he has been completely stripped of all ammunition, so let fear have no place.
I know what the doctors may have said, but thank God that they do not have the final authority, Gods word does!
