No one knew suffering the way you did. In death you gave us life so that we may know you.
How then does it become so easy for us to stray? I guess it is easy when we forget the price that you paid for us. On a cold and rainy morn you hung tattered and torn the blood of your wounds was fresh for the world to see, why did you care so much, as you hung suspended from that tree? Why did you care so much to allow yourself to die for me?
Who am I oh Lord? That you would give your life, You God’s only son who loves us and bore the chains of sin. Why did you die for me? The sacrifice was your life that saved us one and all who join as one with you. In death you gave us renewed life, so we are born again that is God’s greatest gift to us was that we can all be “saved.”
