A Moment

I can close my eyes and pray
To our Lord who made this day�
For it only takes a moment.

I can sit quietly and share
A word of thanks to Him in prayer...
So precious is this moment.

I can hear the birds that bring
A song of comfort as they sing�
Hush and listen for a moment.

Feel the breeze as it gently blows
Smell the perfume from a beautiful rose�
Take pleasure in this moment.

Stars are sparkling way up high
Declaring God�s work throughout the sky�
Look up for just a moment.

Will you take hold of my hand...
And walk with me across this land?
Please join me for a moment.

I will tell you about the Holy One
Our blessed Savior, God�s holy Son �
It will only take a moment.

Once you learn of the One that came
Your life will never be the same.
May He fill your heart this moment.

From sky to earth to heaven and then
He came to walk and teach the men�
Think on this for a moment.

God is the one who draws us in.
Jesus died to save us from our sin �
Give thanks to Him this moment.

Matthew 5:8
Blessed are the pure in heart:
For they shall see God.
