SATISFIED

Satisfied I shall ever be,
With all that God has given me.
Matters not how rich I be,
Only Dear Lord that I dwell with Thee.

Satisfied I shall never be,
As I seek Dear Lord to be like Thee.
Forsaking all, from sin Iíll flee,
ďPlease help me Lord,Ē this is my plea.

Satisfied, ďLord donít let me beĒ,
Until Your Likeness in me I see.
Until from sin I am set free.
Until in the Rapture, I leave with glee.

Satisfied Iím sure Iíll be
As throughout eternity, Your Face I'll See,
No more tears Your Guarantee.
Safe at last, home free; carefree!!!

Oh!! And all tax-free
And I'll be worry-free
And I wonít sing off-key.
(Hey! I heard that amen.)
Iím sure youíll agree,
What a place to sightsee.
No need for ID, Iíll be fancy free.
And Heíll make me feel like a ďVIP.Ē
AMEN??

Sorry Lord, I got carried away.
It wonít happen again until next time.
I promise!!!!!

Samuel L. Saalwaechter

Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

I love it! Great sense of humor -- and I'm sure many of us are tempted to think this way but it is not as witty as this poem. I had a good laugh. Great writing!
