'O cluttered closet the door was closed
after you have been cleaned out
Of those hanging cobwebs and spots that hurt
they did leave without a doubt
So I've come to remind, I still have my sign
it won't take any old junk back
And no need of it to keep hanging around
there's no room left on the rake
'O closet you was dumped of bitterness and anger
and now the Lord He will not permit
To let stuff come in, to cram you up again
he expect you to keep it neat and fit
Ever since that day when you got straighten up
ridding of things that was bad
Which only kept, you bound and chained
to make your heart feel sad
I had swept every inch from top to bottom
threw out everything that did not fit
And the trench-coat, with it's memories
and of today I don't miss one bit
When the Lord came so to make you free
it was not to go back for more
To fill you up with the same old things
but take charge and lock the door
You was told to unload your burdens
and leave space for something new
The lord filled your mind with good thoughts
this is what he did do for you
The old shoes and hats you need no more
for they have gone out of style
And won't even work for these times
for he have gave you a brand new smile
Even the purse's are way out-dated
no telling what was left in there,
But those days are gone and life goes on
so who's to know, and why should you care
Every bag of trash, it has been burned
now you have sweet smells aroma's of grace
That lingers all around for it does abound
and what was bad there is no trace
' O cluttered closet just think on this;
that good things have been filled in you
so whatever comes to try to overtake
you hold fast and let God ne true
There is so much He wants share with all
when we learn to leave the old behind
And thank God above for giving us his love
and He was right on time
