Being so close to the holidays and the traditional “Cookie Exchange” I just had to mention this site. Many of us will be giving the gift of calories ummm…I mean cookies. If you aren’t a gifted cookie baker, be sure to check
out this site first for help. All you talented chefs out in cyberspace will also love this site-trust me.
The recipes are categorized by type. Bar, No-Bake, Cut -Out, Refrigerator and of course, Holiday Cookies. There is a Top Ten list and currently mentioned are recipes for: White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies, Snowflakes, Russian Tea Cakes and Cookie Mix in a Jar III.
If you join, you can manage your recipes online. If you just like a certain recipe, you have the option of: saving it to your online recipe box,
emailing it or printing it out as a card or full page. Or you can convert it to Metric or U.S. Standard. Read what others have to say about the recipes here. It’s much easier to make something when you have an endorsement from a real person, not a marketing executive. One more note about the recipes on this site. They give you a nutritional analysis i.e. calorie and fat info.
I know… bummer.
Looking for baking supplies? Visit their store and order online. They sell many different items there. You can even order various shapes of cookie
cutters. There are over 100 types listed. Use the search engine though. There are over 2100 items just in the Gadgets section.
Cookierecipe.com is affiliated with allrecipes.com. Which is worthy of an entire column in itself! Make sure you bookmark that website as well. If you are looking for recipes this is the place to go. Bon Appetit! Until next
time.
