I see You on Your thrown on high
Your robe now fills your holy place
I see You on Your thrown on high
You are exalted as You fill the sky
Holy, Holy, Holy, is Your power Lord
The whole earth is full of Your glory
Holy, Holy, Holy is Your power Lord
The whole earth is full of Your glory
My world trembles at Your voice
I come to You with unclean lips
My world trembles at Your voice
Woe is me I now make my choice
Holy, Holy, Holy, is Your power Lord
The whole earth is full of Your glory
Holy, Holy, Holy is Your power Lord
The whole earth is full of Your glory
My ears are dull and my eyes are dim
Touch me with Your burning coals
My ears are dull and my eyes are dim
On Your alter I now leave all my sin
Holy, Holy, Holy, is Your power Lord
The whole earth is full of Your glory
Holy, Holy, Holy is Your power Lord
The whole earth is full of Your glory
I hear You Lord and to You I plea
Here I am come now send me
I hear You Lord and to You I plea
To You I come on my bended knee
Holy, Holy, Holy, is Your power Lord
The whole earth is full of Your glory
Holy, Holy, Holy is Your power Lord
The whole earth is full of Your glory
Lest I see with my eyes
Lest I hear with my ears
Lest I understand with my heart
I come to You now my Lord
May I never from your will depart
These lyrics are based on the Old Testament Commission of Isaiah, given in (Isaiah 6:1-13).
The focus of this occasion was to prepare Isaiah for his ministry. The revelation of the glory of the Lord was the foundation leading his confession, and in turn brought his cleansing enabling him to hear the Word of the Lord. This was Isaiah's commission to preach God's message.
We, as children of God, continue to have that same commission of proclaiming the gospel to the world. (Acts 1:8) The message of His redeeming grace. (Ephesians 2:8-9).
You see, it's not just full time church workers who are commissioned to carry the gospel. It's all of us who claim the name of Jesus. Can you say with Isaiah, "Hear am I send me".
" Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me ! ” (Isaiah 6:8)
