There is a Truth in Everything We Say and Do

There is a truth in everything we say and do. We deal with Life as we feel about it and with people as they strike us. Some people just naturally take advantage of everything they can get their hands on. This to them, seems to be natural and so they take and take and never think about giving, until it seems beneficial to them. I guess something could be said about this kind of giving. But whatís the point? Those who need to hear it, wonít be reading this. We can only hope in time, that those who need to learn the lesson of giving will learn it easier rather than the hard way. Some people always have to learn things the hard way. I guess it makes it more real to them. Thatís better than saying theyíre bull headed.
People seldom change completely yet they can get better, sometimes for only short periods at a time. Trust in somebody takes a long time for some people. They tend to do what they want and then wonder why people are upset with them. Telling people something, seldom gets them to do it.
People who react negatively can be cold hearted. They donít feel compassion because it means nothing to them. You get what you work for and if someone else canít do it, you give them a contribution now and then and consider that enough. Itís not exactly a matter of feeling superior but of being in control. I believe a common phrase is hardnosed. Have you ever had to deal with individuals like that? Many time these kind of people are in authority. The might be bosses or anyone who needs this feeling of control. When you think you know best, itís hard to understand the motives of someone else.. You hate to depend on people. That seems like a weakness to you. People can get all kinds of weird ideas. Especially concerning their own egos. And some donít hesitate to project them out onto others. Some do it without thinking.
Projection can be verbal which just serves to hurt peopleís feelings. Emotional projection can often be felt very intensely. A good example is making someone feel guilty. People do it all the time. Some people get quite good at it. They may even appear to have a chip on their shoulder. Usually this is pretty brittle. The chip could fall off at any time, leaving them very vulnerable.
We have to get along with people, therefore we need to understand them. Itís not always so easy but in continuously trying, weíre doing what we can. ďLove one anotherĒ is the advice Jesus gave us. Where can you get any better advice?

... and some of us admit to being bull headed and having had to learn everything the hard way. :::wink::: But at least we ARE learning! Praise God! Nice truths. Lots of love!
