The Founders, Freedom, and the Future of America
The Founders, Freedom, and the Future of America
Americaís roots are hidden deep within the truths of the Holy Scripture. Our laws are structured around Biblical truth because our founding fathers knew what that truth was, and they had great respect for the moral law of God Almighty. They carefully crafted the founding documents of this nation in light of these truths, putting their very lives on the line for the sake of freedom and liberty.
These men knew what it was like to experience persecution for ones Christian faith, for they had left the motherland to form a new land where they would be free to worship God according to their own consciousness, and not according to the King of England, and itís corrupt church.
In fear of God they wrote these words, ďCongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.Ē
Respecting an establishment of religion, one of the most misused, and misinterpreted portions of the Bill of Rights. This one phrase has been used as an excuse by those who oppose the Christian influence in the American culture, to silence, and neutralize Christians in America. The founding fathers were saying that the government has NO business adopting any specific religious group or denomination, and making it the official state church.
The founders wanted to avoid at all costs the tyranny they had evaded by coming to the new land. No longer would people who believed in the truth of Scripture be subjected to torture, and other forms of persecution for their beliefs.
They wanted to form a free society where people could worship God freely according to the dictates of their own conscious without the government telling them what they can and cannot do say, or believe. They wanted to protect religion from the tyranny of government, not protect government from religion.
As we know that is not the case today as government has become restrictive, like a noose around the neck of American citizens it attempts to choke out individual liberty. The government has gone as far as telling churches and pastors what they cannot say from their own pulpits, this is a violation of the first amendment rights of many Americans.
Liberal watchdog groups, which are quite biased against the Christian church, are now monitoring church services for violations of the law, and in order to make themselves appear as unbiased and avoid potential lawsuits for discrimination, they are supposedly going after liberal churches also.
If a church is found to have violated the law the offending church can loose itís tax-free status with the IRS, which means it would have to pay taxes like any other entity. Still the fact remains that the government has NO business telling churches and pastors what they can and canít do or say in the first place, so I want to know why this has not been adequately challenged in the courts as unconstitutional?
The church in America must fight for itís freedom and challenge her adversaries, in order to free herself from government oppression. Government has NO business ordering around the church of Jesus Christ, when push comes to shove the government will become a piece of history, and the church will continue on until her time of earth is complete.
If we as Americans should elect a liberal tyrant to the highest office in the land, and that tyrant pronounce an unholy war on our Christian beliefs, and the churches, then we will be in the same position the founding fathers were in before they set out to start this new nation.
Our founding fathers put everything they had, including their very lives on the line to win the right to freedom, and self-governance. We may be called to take that same action in the future, but the question I have is, are you willing to put everything you have, including your very life on the line to retake the land, and win back your freedom if need be?
As many groups of elitists are fighting for political control, and as they make their dastardly plans on what to do with us once they get into power, we should be planning to launch a new revolutionary war against the tyranny of those who despise our faith and us.
With Godís help once again we can triumph over evil and re-establish this country as a place of freedom and justice for all, but it may take major sacrifice to do so.
Americaís left wing represents a form of communistic socialism hidden under the covering of freedom and liberty. These stand behind the Constitution, bending it over to suit themselves, they sodomize it for their own political gain.
For instance those who burn the flag hide behind the first amendment, claiming it is their right to freedom of speech to desecrate the very symbol of our freedom and liberty. Those who produce pornography hide behind the same first amendment as the degrade women and dirty Godís gift to humanity - sex.
We are living in the age where it is fashionable to bash and suppress Christianity while pushing perversion to new heights sinfulness. The founders of this land must be rolling over in their graves again, and again at the abuses of liberty that we have allowed to flourish in this society.
If America continues to race down this wide road to itís own destruction, someday soon we will have to make a tough choice, either we will pick up our weapons and fight to regain our freedom, or we will become the victims of our own indifference, which will it be? America may not survive another 10 years at the pace it is going, unless good people start doing something about it now instead of waiting until itís too late.
