From go-go boots to porcupines,
To birds upon the wing.
From buffalo to escargot;
There's a poem in EVERYTHING!
From honey-bees to lushest leas,
Or in the desert dry,
We've but to look, and we will see
A poem for you and I!
Contrasting factors enter...
There is beauty, there is fear.
(As in the case of ...rattlesnakes
Who'd want to hold one near?)
In commonplace...on 'everydays'
Elation soars and rings....
Just look beneath the surface....
There's a poem in....EVERYTHING!

I agree there's a poem in everything. Yours summed it up beautifully, with just a tinge of humour. "Who'd want to hold a rattlesnake up near?" Happy New Year.
