Shall we meet at the riverside?
Deep and wide, the waters ebb and flow,
You draw me to the waterside
Where healing and restoration begin.
Join me, let us enter in
And commune with the Savior, Christ the Lord;
A covenant of love and grace
He makes with all His children there.
Wash and cleanse yourselves with
Waters from the Throne of Grace.
Immerse yourselves in the forgiveness
That He extends to all who enter
Into the refreshment of His presence.
Purge the desires of the natural man and all the
Guilt of the past, wash it away,
For it does not befit a child of the King.
This new nature has been bought
By the precious blood of the One who died
For our transgressions;
Before we acknowledged our sins,
Christ died that we might receive atonement
For our sin unto the gift of eternal life through Him.
Sing praises to the God of heaven,
To the Father and to the Son,
For His precious act of love and obedience
To redeem the lives of sinful man.
Won't you go to the riverside where healing waters
Of love and forgiveness flow?
There is no fee, there is no price except
For that which has already been paid
By the Christ so long ago.
His passion has been drawing mankind over the years
That we might not be forever lost.
Oh, join me at the river's edge.
Take the plunge into the waters, deep
And experience His love first-hand.
Let His love and peace surround you
Filling each and every pore
Take His hand and He will lead you
Along the Narrow Way
To eternity's blissful shore.
