Politics
Dear Fellow Christians,
It is with a sense of great urgency that I write this letter to you, to urge you to consider the future of this country, in relationship to the 2004 election. There is much at stake this time such as the future of the God ordained family unit, and of course the God ordained union of marriage.
A lot has been said on both sides of this issue, but we as Christians must look to God’s Holy Word for Direction on this issue. We must “Vote God in the Polls”; we must vote our faith and values, not a certain party line. If we are truly followers of Christ as we claim to be, his values will be our values, and if we are truly lovers of God then his morality will also be our morality. Be certain that God’s morals are not in any way relative, they do not change with the times, nor has his steady hand of judgment upon those who violate his narrow standards of morality.
Yes God’s values are narrow, and while he has given to every person a free will, there are consequences for those who do not follow the narrow path he has paved for us to walk.
Certain politicians have criticized the idea of having “narrow values” as of recently; they do not realize that when they criticize those values, they are criticizing God himself. This alone should throw up a red flag for those to claim to be followers of Christ, and lovers of God; this should make us wary of supporting such candidates running for high office.
God has created and ordained marriage to be between one man, and one woman, but there are those who are bent on re-defining marriage to include persons of same gender sexual relationships. God forbid that we should allow marriage and the family to be undermined by those who are enemies of God, and of his narrow moral standards.
For this reason I beseech every God fearing American to turn from any political candidate that that will not stand and protect the sanctity of marriage one hundred percent! Let there be NO mistake, a vote for such a liberal candidate, is a vote to undermine and destroy marriage and the family.
Let NO person who refers to themselves as a Christian support such an evil and vial thing as same-sex unions (marriage). If some supposed Christian does cast a vote for such a candidate, it is a sign that this person is merely religious, and lacks a sense of morality and common decency, thereby revealing that they are merely religious, and most likely do not know Christ.
Christ called his people to be salt and light, to be a moral preservative in the culture they preside in, and to shine the light of the Gospel. One cannot be salt within society if one aids in the moral decay of the culture, voting for political candidates that do not stand for truth, and righteousness leads to the further decay, and rotting of the nations soul.
Our nation is rotting from the inside out, like a corpse it is starting to turn ripe, and smell foul, and be assured it is a terrible stench in the nostrils of a Holy God. The sin of this nation, our sin, will not go unpunished by any means, the time for repentance is upon us this very hour, let us not continue to grieve the heart of God any longer.
How much longer will God our Father in Heaven tolerate the smell?
If those who seek to destroy the moral fabric, the family, succeed with their evil plans, it will surly be the deathblow to this nation. It is fully possible that America could cease to be a nation; total collapse of this society will be inevitable. Every society down through the ages that has embraced and normalized perversion has ceased to exist, and so shall America.
Every Christian must stand and be counted, every vote must be cast for candidates that stand for God’s righteous standards, and it must be now!
Yes my brothers and sisters, the heart and soul of this nation rests in your hands as you cast your vote on Election Day. I pray that you will not cast your vote erroneously, favoring unscrupulous candidates whom are the enemies of God, but rather that you shall cast your vote in favor of those candidates the represent the Lord our God, and his Holy principles, and moral standards. Why no candidate is wholly perfect in all his/her ways, for they all are human as we are, and prone to sin to make mistakes also, we must remember to stand on principle as we cast our vote.
Let us therefore be separate from the world unto the calling to which we have been called by the one true Holy God, and our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
Amen!

I agree with you. 100% I fear that too many see politics as just politics. I agree with you in prayer on this.
