I voted an 'absentee' ballot today.
(I'll be out of town on Election Day.)
Assuring myself...(IF MY man should lose)
Of MY right to complain, 'bout the one that THEY choose!
But the right to vote...should go deeper than THAT,
It's a DUTY...and NOT JUST a RIGHT!
Yet...it's no easy task...to pick the right one
(As they...verbally...scuffle and fight!)
They have their debates...post their mud-slinging ads,
They BOTH promise....what THEIR term will bring.
(I think when I marked it...I voted for BOTH...
As it SEEMS...they BOTH say the same thing!)

How right you are! It's a hard choice to choose when you don't quite believe the campaign ads and all the speeches. As you say may we all do our duty and elect our old/new president and believe for the best.
