Psalms 16:1 “[[Michtam of David.]] Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.”
preserve (Strong's 8104) to guard, protect, keep or preserve;
put (Strong's 7896) to place, apply, appoint or regard;
trust (Strong's 2620) to flee for protection, to confide in, have hope, make refuge or (put) trust.
Let Him guard you and preserve you for what HE wants to do with you in His Plan. Have confidence and trust in Him even when things seem like they are not going well. Confide in Him and put your total trust in Him and not in noone, not even yourself, because He can do it for you.
By keeping with Him in the Word, you are doing what He needs you to do. That is to stay focused on what He wants you to do for Him here in this life. It may not seem like it for you at the time, but He knows all. So trust Him.
Talk to Him even when your closest friends and family are not able to hear you. He loves you and wants to guide you into who He wants you to become. Especially when it feels like all is appearing negative and going so smoothly, let dear God show you His Power and His Strength. Take comfort and refuge in Him.
So, let Him keep you just like the Shepherd that He is. You are one of his dear sheep and He knows each and every one of us. He loves you and is so happy to have you with Him. Tell Him how much you care and make Him shine even more brightly in your life.
