Producing After Your Own Kind, What Are You Producing After
Genesis 1:24-25, and God said, let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth after his kind and it was so,
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind and cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps upon the earth after his kind and God saw that it was good. God made animals life of the sea and air. In the verses after our text God made man. Everything that God made was good. They were produced and produced him they male and female thereby producing after itís own kind. You donít begat what you donít produce.
We look at these three things of concern:
1. The desertion from the faith, I Timothy 4:1-5
2. Hearing and doing the word, James 1:19-27
3. Godís own people, I Peter 2:9-25
James 1:8 say a double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Every thing reproduces after its own kind and everything that was made obeyed God except man. Men having men and women having women, producing nothing but shame and disgrace. This is because man has since ceased to praise and reverence God in all things. They have deserted the faith. Desertion means the act of deserting, willful abandonment of something, to forsake or leave especially when most needed, abandon, to forsake oneís duty or post.
Man has deserted their first love, their creator, and has willfully abandoned their purpose. They have abandoned the faith. Hebrews 11:6 says without faith it is impossible to please God, for he that cometh to God must first believe that he is and is a rewarder to them that diligently seek him. Some men donít even believe that there is a God. They donít believe he made some of them male and not female. They donít seek him at all and wonít obey. God say produce after your own kind. They have cut off the will of God, that of reproducing and bringing for the fruit. Two seeds canít mate and reproduce nothing. You need an egg and a sperm seed. Godís original. Thatís why they are fighting for cloning, so they can clone them some children. Manís inner desire to be fulfilled with children will leave that void in his life. Heís missing his most joyous pleasure on earth, to reproduce, not to mention what it is to reproduce, and how it happens. Because mankind has refused Godís way, he say in Romans 1:26, that he gave them over unto vile affections. Even the women changed the natural use into that which is against nature. He gave them up, he didnít give them permission to do this, and he let them do what they wanted to do or privitive. He withdrew his gracious help. It is judicial. They were not blind because God withdrew his light, but because of the judgment of God, whereby he delivered them over to the natural results of their unbelief and action. When they began to follow the lie they began to walk in conformity to the lie.
The Gentiles rejection produced three results:
1. God gave them up to all forms of uncleanness
2. All forms of sexual depravity and itís consequent actions
3. He gave them over to a mind that would not retain him in itís knowledge and it consequent action
A reprobate person is a morally unprincipled person. One who is predestined to damnation, morally, unprincipled, profligate; rejected by God and without hope of salvation; to disapprove of; condemn or to abandon to eternal damnation.
To reproduce means to produce a counterpart, image, or copy of. To generate offspring by sexual means, to produce again or anew; recreate; to bring to mind again, as a memory, to generate offspring or to undergo copying.
To be fruitful means to produce fruit, producing in abundance, prolific, conducive to productivity. Producing results, profitable.
To multiply means to increase the amount, number or degree of; make more numerous; to perform multiplication on. To become more in number, amount or degree, to breed, propagate.
Many have deserted the faith by walking away from the content of their Christian belief as related to us in Jude 3. Beloved when I gave all diligence to write to you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith, which was once delivered unto the saints. He expresses to the saints that they should have a definite unchanging and unchangeable content. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as the just shall live by faith. Not only that, but they should trust in God and in him alone for salvation. Acts 16:31 says, and they said; believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and then shall they be saved and their house. Believers rely on the fact that God has declared him righteous. In Genesis 15:6, Abraham believed God and he counted it to him as righteousness. Indwelling faith is trusting Godís word in and through us according to Galatians 2:20, I am crucified with Christ; Nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. We need daily faith, today, a reliance and total dependence on God. II Corinthians 5:7, for we walk by faith and not by sight is a daily part of our sanctification process. That special ability of faith or the gift of faith, a vision of what God can do and how we can achieve that vision, and the power with God to get answers to prayer is described here in Hebrews 11:1-3, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen, he has given us the title deed, for by it the Elders obtained a good report, through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. In Hebrews 11, many old testament saints is mentioned that experienced Godís blessing as a result of their faith, though not all experiencing the same kind of victories, all of them pleased God by their faith.
There are six kinds of faith:
1. Doctrinal faith Ė content of Christian belief
2. Saving faith Ė trusting in Christ and in him alone for salvation
3. Justifying faith Ė reliance that God has declared you righteous
4. Indwelling faith Ė trusting Godís word
5. Daily faith Ė day to day dependence on God which is a past of the sanctification process
6. Gift of faith Ė special ability of faith resulting in the vision of what God can do, and the means by which we can achieve that vision and the power with God to get answers to prayer
We have to remember that it is impossible to please God without faith. (Hebrews 11:6) Our righteousness is obtained by faith, because it is designed for faith.
How could man turn from God and desert the faith. We read in our Bible that the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. God gives the nature of righteousness to the believer if he retains that status by accepting it as a result of Godís justifying activity. We see the righteousness of God as Godís act or declaration that makes it righteous for those who turn to him faith. Faith produces faith. Whatís producing after you?
Others take it as an attribute of God himself. Because they deserted the faith of God and God let them become a morally unprincipled person; predestined for damnation, rejected of God without hope of salvation, condemned and abandoned, their glory exchanged into the likeness of an image of corruptible man, because that God made man, gave him woman to reproduce and love their production, became void because they walked away from God, wouldnít glorify their creator, God even allowed their prized possession, woman to exchange the natural function for that which is contrary to nature, even the men themselves, abandoning the natural function of the woman. They burned with intense desires, another man committing and receiving, continuing the deception of their deeds, just as they did not approve to have God in knowledge. They did all these improper deeds, being filled with malice, promise breakers, who, knowing not only do them, but approve and they are worthy of death. But God say we are without excuse. We desert the faith.
I Timothy 4:1-5 tells us that the spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. Speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
It is not Godís will that we be apostatized from the faith. Everything, every creature, except man willingly obeys God. Everything reproduces after itís own kind. Man need to pick up the mantle and run with it. God in the scripture clearly states that man departed, which means to apostatize. Apostasy is the deliberate and permanent rejection of Christianity after a previous profession of faith in it. Man has been branded or scarred in their conscience, permanently defaced, any moral like is scarred by sin, as they carry around the awareness of their guilt, yet continue preaching to others. They are hypercritical liars, demons, teaching demonic doctrines, prohibition against marriage and abstaining from foods that God has made good.
What have your faith produced in your life?
Can it be reproduced in someone else?
We need to produce those things in our life that are edifying and someone will see God in us and desire to produce the same matter. We are gods in the earth, made in the image of God. Every thing he made was good and whatever we produce should produce after good also.
What are you producing and what is producing after you?
