Apologetics
I wrote this poem out of a revelation that sometimes I become so spiritual. I forget that I am only free because Jesus died on the cross. Satan is so cunning and sets traps for us to think of ourselves as OKAY. The truth is that when I humble myself before God he can work in my life. May this minister to you. It is not meant to be critical. It is meant to remind us all that in order to be free from the deception of the enemy we must purify ourselves (the temple) daily. God bless.
My God, My God
what have we done?
We've made your temple
a mockery
Captured by selfishness
and greed
We're lost in our iniquity
Polluting the body
you died to set free
We've been blind,
for way too long-
So My God, My God
lead us back to truth,
the truth we lost
when we left you....
