I rise to meet you
in the places so often untread
In the caves of the broken
where the wounded lay their head
and the sinners hide in shame-
Lord,
I rise to meet you
in the place of total surrender
In the heart of the sinner
Where they cry in the night
and wonder what this life is for-
Lord,
I rise to meet you
in the valleys of the weak
for it's there I will speak
of your great mercy and grace
and how you love them so.....
Lord,
I rise to meet you
in the places you command
for upon this truth I will stand
that my life is not my own
and so my answer shall be....
