THERE IS NO ONE ELSE LIKE JESUS

There is no one else like Jesus
For He is one of a kind.
He alone can save and free us.
He alone can Satan bind.
No one else was born just like Him;
He was of a virgin born.
He came into a world so grim,
To give light on Christmas morn.
No one else walked in the pure light
Of obedience to God.
No one else produced such a sight
As the narrow way He trod.
No one else lived with such great love.
He was open to all men.
He was God come down from above
To restore them all again.
No one else ever fed great crowds
With a few fish and some bread.
No one else ascended the clouds
After rising from the dead.
No one else died as the Savior
Of the world of lost sinners.
Now in spite of bad behavior
All the lost can be winners.
No one else was, like Him, sinless.
No one else was pure in heart.
No one else did such love express.
None, like Him, did grace impart.
No one else could make a storm cease.
No one else could raise the dead.
No one else can give us such peace,
We know He'll do all He said.
No one else can keep each promise
That they make to those they love.
So many things can go amiss,
But not with our Lord above.
No one else has such great power
Over all heaven and earth.
Like the rain His blessings shower
So we'll never suffer dearth.
No one else is king of the heart;
No one else can give such hope.
No one else can such strength impart
That enables us to cope.
No one else was the king of joy;
None had greater joy than Him.
Every moment He did enjoy
A cup filled right to the brim.
Even in His darkest hour,
As He hung upon the cross,
The joy of God did empower
Him to suffer this great loss.
For the joy that sat before Him
He endured the cross and shame.
Through the lake of fire He did swim
To enjoy the greatest fame.
No one else has a greater name
Than this most glorious One.
No life can ever stay the same
If they grasp what He has done.
No one else can forgive our sin.
He alone has paid the price.
He alone can cleanse us within
By the blood He sacrificed.
No one else can conquer the tomb,
And out of death rise to life.
No one else can rid life of gloom,
And give peace in midst of strife.
There is no one just like Jesus.
He is perfectly unique.
In His loving arms he'll seize us
If His God like love we seek.
