“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” John 3:17-18 NIV
Life can be quite complicated. We often need to make decisions without much information. Many things that are out of our control occur, which puts us into situations we had not anticipated. One decision we all face in life impacts our eternal destiny. We must choose to either accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, and turn our lives over to Him so that we may inherit eternal life with the Father and the Son, or we can choose to follow Satan and live our lives for ourselves and the desire for earthly treasures. This choice will result in an eternity spent in torment and separation from God.
God is love. If we want to be with Him we must love all. This involves much sacrifice on our part. We cannot do this if we have self-centered, self-seeking lives. When we turn our lives over to Christ, we pass from eternal condemnation to eternal life. With hearts and souls belonging to our Lord, we can love as we were meant to love, and we will seek to advance the kingdom of God.
We who love the Lord must share Him with others so that they might be led to make the proper choice for their eternal destiny. One soul that turns to Christ brings much rejoicing in Heaven! Let us share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world!
