At times when my prayers go unanswered I feel a bit frustrated
But when I heard that our God is a loving God, who wants fellowship with us I was fascinated
In Gen:3 we read God came to Eden garden but when Adam wasn't there He was disappointed & cried "Adam where are you?"
In John:1 before Philip introduced Nathanael to Jesus, Jesus said, "before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree I saw you" John:1:48(ESV)
It is not us who chose God first. It is God who chose us first. It is God who loved us first.
Actually it is God who feels bad when we don't talk to Him. See Isaiah 43:22(ESV)
"yet you didn't call upon me" God is badly in need of our love.
We may forget God sometimes when we get busy with our own chores. But God never ever forgets us.
"O Israel you will not be forgotten by me" Isaiah 44:21(ESV)
I remember a poem I read a long time before. ' A man comes to Church exactly at a particular time during his lunch break & tell Jesus,"Jesus this is Jim checkin' in" everyday. A time came when he was sick so couldn't come to Church. He was hospitalized. At that time, Jesus visited him exactly at the same time he used to come to Church & said,"Jim this is Jesus checkin' in"
It sounds wonderful that a person who loves us deeply is waiting to hear our voice; wants to talk with us in still small voice.
He is indeed standing at the door knocking, He wouldn't break in. He gently whispers, "Arise my love, My beautiful one... Let Me hear your voice.. For your voice is sweet.. Songsofsolomon 2:13,14(ESV)

Thank you for sharing this article. I really liked it. It is so nice that God does want to hear from us. He wants us to come to Him in prayer. I am glad does not forget me, even when I temporarily forget Him.
