What do you do with your time
To whom are you giving these precious moments
There's so much of time in each day
Enough time even for us to play
We work, we shop, we take timeout to talk
We jog, we sing and take off our bling, blings
It's your time use it the way you want
Some day though, you'll have to give account
He'll ask us what you did this/that day
You won't be able to lie in that way
Stand firm you're legit just say, I've worked,
Took care of the business at hand
Got the children out to school, took care of my man
Wash the clothes, cleaned the house
Cooked the food, cleaned the liter pan out
Picked up the laundry, washed and gassed the car
Even took time to say hello, to the neighbor next doe
When you have finished, He'll show the tape
No, on this one there'll be no mistakes
The video of your mind will start to rewind
He'll push play, you'll quietly wait
Watching the tape reveal your life
No, no one but God and you will see
He's always and forever a gentlemen to me
How you spend your time, each and every day
He's not out to get you, no not in that way
His thoughts towards us are good, not evil
He won't let you sink into your own upheaval
He brings us to our expected end
It's the same story, you know it you win!
So chose your time wisely, don't waste a moment
Think about to whom you give it
How to pray for your brother, and sister
How to help your dear mother when she needs it
Help feed the hungry, love the unlovely
This is the season you've got the reason
It's His will to live, live abundantly
Take time out today help set someone free
Love in Christ
