I am one who is crying out to God
"Father, show me Your face."
I am one who is crying out to God
"Show me how to run MY race."

I am one who is lost without HIM
For He is the Light
I am one who is a child of the Father
delivered from the night.

I am one who finds
shelter in His arms
As I hide in Him
from all kinds of harm.

I am one who must
humble myself before Him
and cast off all my cares
to stand strong in Him

I am one who
transparent and honest must be
because the sin in my heart
keeps me from being free

I am one who
will rule and reign with Him
through abundance of grace
that fills me within.

So often we misunderstand our own identity before the Lord...and yet you have certainly discovered yours! This is lovely. Thanks for sharing from your heart.
