One of the worse troubles in life are those where you had no idea a secret plot was being conspired against you right under your nose. A storm was brewing and there were no signs of its coming approach. Suddenly it came and covered itself all over you, cutting off the rays of sunshine you once enjoyed. You were totally unprepared.
And such is the case of those who are experiencing a storm of enemies that sprung up out of nowhere. They are doing all they can to make your life miserable, to cut you down, and take you out by any means necessary. What's more disturbing, is that they really don't have a reason, it's "just because."
Is it just because of the God in you that causes you to glow everywhere you go? Is it because of the joy that floods your soul, and makes your cup run over with smiles in your comings and goings? Is it because of the anointing that causes you to be effective and excellent in all that you do? If your enemy doesn't know, how can anyone else know? They may come up with a reason, but it would be one of their own imagination, to justify their cause.
Daniel, one of the three Hebrew children who were put into the fiery furnace for standing firm in their faith (Daniel 3:13, 16-18), also experienced trouble from secret plotters, who were co-workers turned enemies, because of their jealousy of Daniel's promotion over them - "Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him, and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom, no error or fault was found in him" (Daniel 6:3-4).
Your enemies may also be co-workers, or from your neighborhood, or even from your own household. Whoever they are, the troubles they are bringing is coming from all sides, making you feel blocked in with nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide. You have been covered with a blanket of trouble so heavy, you have no strength to remove it on your own.
But God is your battle axe! Fear no evil, for though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He is with you. His rod and staff will comfort you, while He goes to fight for you. And He will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. Like the troubles your enemies suddenly brought upon you, suddenly they will be met with a force so strong, they will not be able to stand. Go Ahead shout now! Don't wait until the battle is over, Shout Now!
