We look for the most obvious signs, we listen for the loudest screams, and we go the biggest churches to try and find God, when God is found in the still quiet voice that he claims he is and in the calm of the storm we will find Him, right in between the raging and the extremely peaceful, we find the creator of raging storms. We look for His glory in the most obvious of places, we fail to forget that he is the God of the poor, the oppressed, and the widow, do we ever look there to find his glory? I think we have failed to forget, that the God we serve is the God of the Underdog, and that bothers some of us. Because, like Jonah, we think we have had to work for our acceptance into the arms and kingdom of God and for God to love someone just as easily who has committed more "crimes" or sins in the pious human mind we cringe to think that his grace expands our efforts. well, it does. start looking for god in the most unobvious places, you will find him, i promise.
