Sunday night April 18, 2004 at around 9:30 P.M. we were blessed.
Yes our mare had a tiny precious little stud colt.
Now these are mini horses but huge on love.
I have prayed over all four of ours and thank God daily for them.
I anointed the tiny colt with oil the night he was born.
To some this may not seem like much but to us this is huge.
To see the excitement on my wife’s face and hear the joy in her voice is priceless.
Then the lit up eyes and faces full of ah and excitement on Courtney’s and Hannah’s face.
Then I saw a picture of myself with the little one and wow.
To watch the birth was exciting.
Yes it was at times what some would say unattractive.
But as soon as he was out none of that was even an issue.
Then the next day he was dry.
And this is when it hit me.
The actual birthing process can be unattractive.
But as soon as all the access is off and all is dried the beauty comes out.
This goes for humans as well as animals.
Now let’s look at this spiritually.
When one receives Christ they are reborn.
So they go through a birthing process.
And this can be unattractive.
But shake off the access and dry off and the beauty shines.
Now there may be those who do not know how to get completely dry.
And sadly there are those who wish to remain wet because they refuse to release.
Sometimes this takes a while and at times this is a very fast process.
But each time there is someone there to reach out and help you stand for the first time and take that first step.
