Spiritual Lesson: Being a liar and telling the truth
Verses: Proverbs 26:5 and II Timothy 3:9
Tommy the Tuba has a little problem of exaggerating and lying. He wants people to like him but he does not think that he is very interesting so he tries to make himself sound like he is more than he actually is.
At school he is known to be the greatest ball player ever, but the truth is that he has never played ball ever. He now is the starter and everyone is excited about the game and is going to cheer him on. He has never been this popular but he has this funny feeling in his stomach.
Bob the Bassoon noticed Tommy practicing late one afternoon and decided to go and talk to him. Bob told Tommy that it is not always the wisest to have everyone think that he is the best at everything.
With Bob's help Tommy had the courage to tell everyone the truth about himself and people accepted him for who he is.
