There is a saying, "All men are created equal" but we all know that's not true- because clearly, we see the dramatic differences in people everyday and all around us. People are not created equal, even I know this, as much as I know most people would hate to admit it; we do not have the same measure of intelligence, strength, humility, courage, compassion, hope, ect, nor were we made to be physically equal.. We are not all given the same opportunities, though some of us might chase after the same dreams; nor are we given the same blessings, for, we are all given different talents in order to perform different tasks. The only thing that makes us an equal as a whole and as mankind, is the fact that we are all equally yoked. Truly, it is because we are all made to carry the basic burdens of life that make us equal, nothing more and nothing less.
Prejudice is the act of using that knowledge of inequality, to become deceived into believing that one person can be made a king, while another can be made into a subject. It is not healthy for any person's spirit to accept that falsified sense of supremacy or create a deceptive form of hierarchy to distract us from our primary goals in life. God is the only King and all mankind, whether they are rich or poor, free or enslaved, sick or healthy, are all subjects of Time- no one is above Time. People have a tendency to belittle those who appear to be weaker just because they might lack intelligence or strength. They also have a way of exalting those who appear to be greater just because they were blessed with more insight or beauty. However, all mankind falter, regardless of how wise they are (Solomon) or how beautiful they might be (Absalom) and both the great and small are equally vulnerable to fallacy and all mankind are equally burdened by the basic troubles in life.
Though I was not made equal to my brothers and sisters that came before me, I share an equal burden of having to find life under the sun within the set time God gave to me and avoid dying before my time or before I have found my joy. I must learn to survive the bad and enjoy the good, just like everyone else, regardless of the tribulations I face because my life span is so short, it is just a blink of an eye, even if I reached to be 100 years old. I know I cannot escape the equal share of both the basic spiritual and physical burdens, as is required of all mankind, while trying to live a satisfactory life and return to God with having found treasure or something of great worth.
Because of this, no man, though given the appearance of being greater, is to be my king; and no man, though given the appearance of being weaker, is to be my subject. From God, I came and to God, I will return- what is my fellow man to me, other than that they too, are subjects under the sun, like me, searching for pearls? Therefore, mankind are not created equal, but God makes them equal by placing all the basic weights of life on their shoulders. But as soon as they return to God, their sense of equality is broken and He sets us apart by the number of pearls we've gathered- and this is what sums up the meanings of those parables Christ spoke of, concerning what it's like to find the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, it is important to understand the difference that, it is not about proving ourselves equal, but about overcoming the basic struggles in life that force us to remain equally yoked. I don't get what it is about people constantly taking the concept of equality out of context to the point where it doesn't make any sense... Mankind are not created equal and there is nothing wrong with that. There's only something wrong if people cannot accept that obvious fact.
