....God our Saviour....who will have all men to be saved, & to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Live Everyday Like It's Your Last
No, this is not a call to lascivious revelry. Rather, itís a call to a dependably righteous lifestyle. Moreover, itís a call to hope. When Christ was hanging on the cross, one of the malefactors next to him pleaded that Christ remember him after the resurrection. Christís answer was so much more than a promise of remembrance. His vow of compassion was this:
Ö.To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
In Ezekiel God spoke these words:
ĎHave I any pleasure at all that the wicked should dieÖ.& not that he should return from his ways, & live?í
These scriptures tell us that salvation is an ever-present hope for the living. They are evidence of Godís merciful & forgiving nature. The promise of salvation is the most valuable of all human possibility. I plead with you to never allow yourselves to be found wanting. Let no one & nothing turn your vision away from the eyes of Christ, remembering always to stand strong in faith & enduring appreciation of the God we serve. But if for any reason you have fallen, the hope remains. Seek him with an open heart & he shall be found.
