Eve in Genesis 3:20 was called the ďmother of all livingĒ. A Woman is a mother.
Deborah, a political leader had mother applied to her in Judges 5:7. A Woman is a leader.
Naomi was a mother and a mother in law of Ruth and Orpah in Ruth 1:14, 2:11. A Woman is a mother in law. The mother in law of Simon Peter was healed by Jesus in Matthew 8:14-15 and Mark 1:30-31. Each woman had a work of a mother represented.
Eve name means life. Eve was created by God in Genesis 1:27 as a female. A female is one designated the sex that produces ova and bears offspring. They are feminine, characteristic of or suitable to members of the male sex. The female consists of woman or girl and they have qualities regarded as gentleness, weakness (in that we are not strong like man, so we are considered the weaker vessel), we have a delicacy about us and should possess modesty (which means we are modest, have humble behavior, lack of excessive or pretentious attentions). We have moderation, decency and decorum.
Women we stay in our bounds, not going past Godís bounds but avoiding all excess and extremes. The female must have and show a moderate opinion of her own self; setting values for themselves, desires to reach their abilities and achieve their goals. The female is modest which means that their behavior, dressing and speaking is in a way that is considered proper and decent. She is quiet and humble in appearance and style. She exercises charity; is chaste.
Eve was created to be something and someone special. She is manís helpmeet and companion.
From Female to Woman
This female Eve would soon be made into a woman. Genesis 1:27 so God created man in his own image; in the image of God created he him; male and female; created He them. The male and female was like God; spiritual beings; spirit. In the Spirit we are neither male or female, for we are all one in Christ Jesus yet individually different in the flesh. For God is Genesis 2:21-23 took the female part out of Adam and made her, her own body. God made a woman for the man and brought her unto Adam and she became in the earth Adamís helpmeet (Gen. 2:18).
Now Eve the mother was female, a woman, a helpmeet, and she would become Adamís wife (Gen. 2:25). They were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. They knew no flesh and saw no flesh for they were spiritual beings in fleshly bodies; earthen vessels; man and woman, the female human being, a female servant, and a wife.
Woman is now distinguished from the man as she become his wife beside him to help him keep the earth and to replenish it. Eve now was put beside Adam to be his wife; married becoming one flesh. They were still one in Spirit but were now in relationship with Adam. As a wife she was to be fruitful and multiply; bearing children which made her a mother. A wife is called the desire of the eyes for she was a delight some sight to look upon by her husband. She is his help, a fruitful vine for her husband to bring forth children. She now became a mother.
As a wife she was not to be contentious (always ready to argue, be quarrelsome, full of strife, dispute, discord, conflict or controversy). She was not to be a busybody (a person who mixes with other peopleís affairs, meddle or gossip) as she had a work; domestic duties to do. We see Sarah in Genesis 18:6 had her part to do to help her husband Abraham accomplish his goals. A wife is responsible, conscientious, accurate in actions, and reliable. A wife supports her husband and maintains a steadfast adherence to her husband.
She should feel morally bound by the covenant she has taken before God and man with her husband. Her stand should be undeviating. A man that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor of the Lord; she adds to him if she is a virtuous woman. She has a price far above that of rubies and the heart of her husband safely trusts her; she will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Every woman should have and desire her own husband. According to I Corinthians 7:2 she is to render due benevolence (she canít withhold her body from him except as verse 1 says; itís for a time of fasting and that is with the agreement of her husband). Oneness is everything with God. The man was not created for the woman but the woman for the man. The man however is not without the woman, nor the woman without the man (I Cor. 11:9-11) in the Lord; for the woman is of the man and man by the woman but all things are of God (I Cor. 11:12).
God has order! The wife is to reverence her husband (Eph. 5:33). She should have a feeling or attitude of deep respect, love, and awe for marriage is a sacred estate. She is to act in obeisance to him in the Lord. Her gestures toward her husband should be done with respect, homage or deference (yielding in opinion, judgment or wishes; courteous, honoring the position in which her husband stands). The woman has become a wife!
Now the female, the woman, the helpmeet, the wife is ready to become a mother. A mother is one that has born a child. Mother identifies the woman as she is related to her children or child. A mother gives birth to something, is the origin or source of something, or nurtures in the manner of a mother. A mother is one having the responsibility and authority of a mother.
Spiritually a mother is a woman with a title of affectionate respect. She looks after or cares for the women and children n the body of Christ as a mother does. She is not one that s unremarkable but has character or qualities of a mother. She has the image, not despicable or despised. She does not look down on others. She is strong in her responses and they are not based on emotions but the Word.
Contemptible she is not! Disrespectful she is not! Unruly and disobedient she is not; she is not offensive or unpleasant, nor is she disagreeable. A church mother is the head of the religious establishments alongside the Pastor (or spiritual leader). She is inferior to no other. She is and can be a powerful influence.
Lydia was a business woman (Acts 16:14-15). She played a large part in the work of the Church in Phillipi and was a devoted worshiper. The eagerness she had to help Paul lay the foundation of the work in Europe that was much needed. The Philippian Church was dominated and molded by her progressive spirit. She made it a Missionary Church to make contributions to Paulís mission work. It is beyond doubt due mainly to her and Luke that this Church took the lead in this great enterprise.
The Church mother is full of good works and alms deeds. She looks out for the progress of the work of Christ. She supports the Church, the Pastor, leaders and the vision. She is a teacher of good things, walks in the realm of faith and peace. She dresses in modest apparel. She is silent and speaks with wisdom. She submits to leadership and authority.
Yet as to salvation and in Godís sight all are one in Spirit; not flesh. There is neither male nor female in Christ Jesus (Gal. 3:28). God has order for the woman. Females are special; we have the same heavenly DNA as the man. We have the same DNA as our natural daddy; for we came from man.
Women we are special; we are no more one in man but were separated. We are apart, no more one but two, we have our own identity.
Wives we are special; now we have come together again as one with man, we have place, position, and glory.
Helpmeets we are special; we have been anointed to be a helpmeet; a special anointing of the helpmeet.
Mothers we are special; we are the second parent, blessed. We have the responsibility to train and teach them.
However we are called, we need to be exemplary in our walk throughout life. God has order and donít deviate from it. He donít turn aside as we do from His Word. He donít turn away from the course he set for man. So therefore we must line ourselves up to Him, His directions, standards, doctrines, or Word.
We as women have veered off course with God. We have in one area or the other failed at some point in life as this female part. We can though come and bring ourselves to the feet of God once again and repent our ways. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and put us on the right path again.
