John 14:16 -17
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
To comfort is to cause a relief or satisfaction or to give a consolation from suffering or worry. It is to make you to be at ease.
Jesus did not leave us comfortless ...orphanos ..gk, meaning ...orphans, but gave us another comforter to be with us always.
The Comforter ... parakletos ..gk, meaning ... intercessor ...consolor ...advocate. He is the Holy Ghost.
The comforter ... Jesus sent him to us and He dwells in you. Make you an abode for him and he will make an unending intercession for you.
Do you know him? Or are you known of him?
He will pray for you according to the will of God. He is called to go alongside with you.
Your body is abode allow him to comfort you in your challenges and your fight of faith.
The advocate will counsel you to make a way of escape where there seems to be no way. Ask him and he will supply you with the wisdom you need for that endeavour.
He is the expert lawyer, he knows the way out from every crisis and challenges. He is there with you in the water or the fire.
As he dwells in you, you must also dwell in him by letting the word dominate you. You and the word must be one. That is the word must dwell in you richly.
Jesus said search the scriptures.
So that with joy you will be able to draw out from the wells of salvation which dwells in you
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. Isa 12:3
We have an advocate with the father Jesus the righteous who ever lives to make intercession for us.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Heb 7:25
He is the high priest of your confessions lifting up your prayer as incense before the father
Recognise his presence and allow him to carry out his ministry in you.
