Mark Twain said, ďI am an old man and have known a great many troubles but most of them never happened.Ē Mr. Twainís humor is a reminder that most of what you worry about never happens.
Nothing can rob you of your peace of mind and sap your energy levels like worry. A by-product of fear, worry can take many forms including fear of failure, rejection, people, disaster, and death. Fear can strike when health issues arise or when a death occurs. Fear can come knocking when the bank account runs low, and the bills pile up. Some people worry about what people say or think about them. Fear can even trap you in believing that your circumstances are hopeless and will never change.
Even the bravest of souls fear something. David, a man of great courage and strength, dealt with fear and prayed for Godís protection from his enemies. Davidís constant need for God created a strong reliance on Him.
Some people fear the unknown, and they worry about their future. Not only does Jesus know your future, He holds your future. Living in a turbulent world, you will have to deal with fear, but you donít have to live in fear. Jesus is your one constant in life, and He will never leave nor forsake you. Trust Jesus, for He is trustworthy.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
