A mom does not want to hear or to relish,
Of her son swallowing the pet goldfish;
A mom does not want to hear at dawn,
Her lipstick works better than crayon;
A mom does not want to feel any pain,
If asked of grape juice leaving a stain;
Do not tell mom after the car had stalled,
While she was out the principal called;
A mom hates a son saying a bad word,
The same one dad all the time is heard;
A mom fears hearing while cleaning brass,
The upstairs breakage of a window glass;
A mom fears hearing her daughter Betty,
An earthworm got mixed in the spaghetti;
A mom fears the most in seeing the ooze,
Her son painted her brand new shoes;
A mom fears in having to be on her toes,
As the dog is running dressed in clothes;
A mom fears most in hearing talked about,
The day when the kids say on moving out.
