He Wants Us to Follow His Lead

Ezekiel 37:1 the hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones.

God still carries his called and anointed out in the spirit to show them things that must shortly come to pass. He still show us the way around danger of jeopardizing our souls. We have that same influence Ezekiel had to make a difference in the world. We have that same influence Jesus had in the earth. Why we will not use it is on us. God always lead his people to safety and we are safe in the hands of Jesus. He wants us to follow his lead.

Ezekielís influence and end among the older religious political prophets was such a one as a dismembered limb of the body. He had two audiences, one real and present, the exiles round about him at Telabib; the other, ideal, the whole house of Israel. Ezekiel was a spiritual philosopher and an apologist. He dealt with general principles.

Ezekiel was a Pastor and a statesman. He died as a martyr because of certain prophecies against a certain prince. Ezekiel was called. His prediction or prophecy of the destruction of Jerusalem was sure. The doom of foreign nations was sure. The promise of restoration is sure. He also gave us to know the polity of the restored nation. The soul however that sin; it shall die.

Ezekiel 18:4 all souls are mine said the Lord. If we be just and do that which is lawful and right Godís Spirit is upon us. He have stretched out his hand toward us and He wants us to follow His lead.

Ezekiel 36:23-24 and I will sanctify my great name which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord God when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the heathen and gather you out of all countries and will bring you into your own land.

As the Holy flock, the people of God it is up to us to take the outstretched hand of mercy and follow the God that has given and shown us so much grace. Do we think that God is going to carry us if we don't change our ways? God calls us to leave sin and follow Him. We are to do His Word and accept His Spirit that will lead and guide us. God wants to put His Spirit in us that He may communicate to that which is a part of Him; His Spirit. It is His Spirit that makes man live and be alive.

Itís time the dry bones caused by sin come alive in righteousness. Except the Lord build the house it will not stand. We the people of God will have to turn loose this world, its pleasures and cling to God; the Father of all living. Itís time out for just being religious. We are enlarging Satanís kingdom every day with our ungrateful, unthankful lifestyles. We are impenitent and continue to worship idols; which is anything we put before God. Many of us are stubborn and hell bent on doing things our way. We are resistant to change just as the sinner who continues to sin.

Many of us need to prophesy new life in our lives. God need to breathe into us once again and if we never accepted Jesus in our lives in and through, then surely we need to seek for Him in His fullness. The Preachers have stopped speaking life into the lives of the flock. The False Prophets have robbed the people with a watered down message to appease the flesh. We add too much sugar to the Word that needs no help. The Word carries its own weight. Some things God mean to be sour.

Every act that happens in life is not sweet coming or going. Romans 4:17 and say speak those things that be not as though they are. We speak new life in the Spirit man that is dying daily for affection in the life of Saints everywhere. They want a sweet way but there is no sweet way in Christ. He comes with sugar and salt. We have to swallow the good, bad, ugly, and the evil so that Godís hand will be outstretched to us. Life and death is in the power or the tongue.

God will bring what we say together when it lines up with His Word. Although some things are not wrong they may not be good for us at the time. Sometime we fail to state what we mean and if Christ is in it or not. God will put a new Spirit in us and take away the stony heart out of our flesh. Sometime we are the reason we donít prosper in Christ although we are saved. Along with being saved we are godly, sanctified, righteous, and holy and Word fed. When we are breathing Godís Word we cease from our own wisdom. We trust the Lord with all of our heart and lean not to our own understanding. In this life we have to understand and be understood. How can we help someone when we donít understand what they are going through?

We have an obligation to God, to learn of Him and human needs; that we may know how to give meat in due season. Man need sound doctrine about our Father and his Son, Jesus. We learn through Godís Holy inspired Word written of man under the anointing and leading; of the Holy Ghost. The Word is to be heard and accepted in our hearts that we may lead a quiet and peaceable in this world. We will not consider being wise in our own eyes but we will know that it is the Wisdom of God that keeps us safe from hurt, harm, and danger.

When we consider the heavens, moon and stars, how that they stand in their appointed place obeying Godís every command; what about us. What would happen if we did not have God to depend on? We holy or not donít want to obey God when itís not what we want to do. What is man that we give more consideration to them than we do God? God is a Spirit and He breathe His Spirit into man and man became a living soul.

What then keeps us alive? Itís what God breathe in us that cause us to live. If Godís Spirit donít show up in the morning we are nothing but a flesh body ready for burial. So then if we have sin in our lives that separates us from God then we are dead flesh living dead. Itís because of God man live, moves, and has his being. He made man a little lower than the Angels. His hands is open to us, His heart is wide open to receive us to Himself. God wants to take our hand and lead us into the paths of righteousness. But the decision is up to us.

The hand of the Lord was upon Ezekiel and he carried him out in the Spirit of the Lord and set him in the midst of the valley which was full of bones; dry bones. Manís ways and disobedience to God carries dryness in the Spirit of God within him. Little by little Godís Spirit dies when we end up in the valley of sin. But when man will return to God, repent and stop the sin God will breathe new life into him once again. We have to stay focused and donít be pulled off the path without a fight.
