Things God Taught Me

When I think about the things the man taught me from the orphanage, there was always this one requirement during His training: Faith. Throughout my life in America, when I used to see preachers, priests and even evangelists talking about faith, all I heard was "Blah, blah, blah.." Faith was just a word to me and it also, seemed like just a word to them. But what the man taught me in the orphanage was the WORKS of faith. Now there was the difference. God always said to me, "Do this" or "Do that" and it was always 'Do, do, do.'

Whenever these hallucinations occurred, He would always begin our day by first doing something wonderful and then say to me, "Now it's your turn. BUT FIRST YOU MUST BELIEVE it can be done before you do it, otherwise, you will not succeed." Those words were basically the only words He spoke to me whenever He taught me things and the rest of the time, He didn't talk but mostly showed me how He performs miracles. Looking back at these memories, I understand that having Faith was NOT for the benefit of showing God what I was able to do, nor was it for the purpose to amuse the angels that sat on the steps watching me. God taught me how to have Faith for my own benefit, so that eventually, I would know how to lift mountians whenever I needed to; and I'll tell you what, there are no heavier mountains than the ones that burden the heart. Truly, the mountains that crush the soul are much more difficult to break, than the literal mountains we see on earth.

Sometimes, when it comes to talking about God to people who are broken, it's just better to preach through example, than with words. Because when a person lacks or loses hope, the only way to teach them to have it and rebuild it again is by showing them how. Faith is for the sole purpose of spiritual survival. It is true that man does not eat bread alone; the soul that makes the function of the human body possible, needs to learn to survive too.

When people hear the word Faith, they automatically expect to see miracles or want to see a person perform wonders. Christ willingly became a spectacle to the world for the sake that people might learn how to have faith through his example, (though the purpose to have it, wasn't for amusement even though it does entertain angels). It is easier for a man to part the sea than for him to separate evil desires from his heart. If mankind lacks the strength to overcome their own demons, it is comical that they are able to control the functions of their own human body. Faith is able to overpower physical things as well as the spiritual.
