A Review of Trials and Triumphs
The book “Trials and Triumphs” is a book that consists of forty Christian testimonies. The testimonies shared are true stories of the forty authors. Each testimony has a unique way of showing how our Lord Jesus Christ takes good care of His children.
Moreover, the testimonies make us to understand that being a Christian does not mean that you are free of problems encountered by others, but the difference is that Jesus comforts and helps us to overcome the problems. The Word of God says, “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort: Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God” (2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 KJV).
I thank the authors for sharing their life experiences with the readers. I believe that reading their testimonies increase the faith of the readers, by saying, “If God did it for these people in our generation, He can do it for me also.”
Some people that doubt the power of God should read this book, and discover that our God is still the same; what He did in the past He is able to do it again. The Bible confirms, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever” (Hebrews 13: 8 KJV).
I strongly recommend the book for every Christian to read. Thank you.
