Spirt and She
SPIRIT AND SHE
She danced her way before the King, with each sashay and twirl,
She worshipped with a saintly gait, this jewel like a pearl.
She lifts her hand to bless His courts, As Spirit hoists her high,
Pliesí un-matched and soft as light, While Spirit drew her nigh.
I watched in awe as grace spilled out, burst forth in leaps and bounds,
Exhilarating holiness, they danced the sacred grounds.
As Hallelujahís pierced the air, She and Spiritís consuming heat,
Melts death and hate and pain away, their partnership complete.
My heart grew faint within me as, it seemed their dance would end,
But then they kneeled and bowed their heads, soared up, and danced again.

Overall I liked the poem but had a little trouble with But as they kneeled and bowed their heads, soared up, and danced again. I am not sure you need "as" in the line.
