Arrested By The Holy Spirit

Oh…God! Why am I like this? Why do I keep on doing the things I do, even though I know they are wrong? My life is a wreck and everything I touch turns to ruin! Why did you make me, if only to be the failure I am? Why do you haunt me? Please let me be, so I can have some peace!

I was a police officer and I arrested people, every day, who did things less offensive than I did. Yet, I enforced the law and locked them up. What kind of man does that make me? I am so ashamed and I can’t take it any more; help me God!

“My son, I will never depart from you or forsake you. I will be with you even to the ends of the earth! Come unto Me, you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest Take My yoke upon you for My burden is light. Peace I give you, not as the world gives , give I unto you.”

Peace, You say, yet I have no peace!

“Allow yourself to be arrested by the Holy Spirit and you will find that peace. Plead guilty and throw yourself on the mercy of the Judge, who is My Son; for you have all sinned and come short of My glory. Accept My forgiveness through believing on My Son Jesus, and you will be exonerated and live in peace, with Me, forever!”

Oh, Lord, hear my cry; Come Holy Spirit and arrest me. I surrender all!

Note from the author:

Arrested means to be taken into custody with the purpose of being brought before the Judge to answer for breaking the law, and receiving justice for your crime.

Praise the Lord that His justice is not without mercy, but know that His Holiness requires justice, and His justice must prevail. He would that none would perish, but many will because they reject His Son, Jesus, our Advocate.

I pray you would submit yourselves for arrest by the Holy Spirit, right now!
