The Emperor's New Clothes for today

I have had the Emperor's new clothes come to me prophetically since the time of
the election of this presidency as to what it could be likened to.

I didn't fully understand what that meant at that time.
Now it is come to me, again, and this time with clearness.

I am so sad to hear of the different religions follow after, and pretend
they see something so wholly against what
God speaks.

In the tale, the Emperor's New Clothes, each person was called in to "admire" the new clothing.

Of course, no one saw anything.

But they all went along with the flow for one reason or another.
Mostly, they feared public humiliation, loss and reprisal.
Because if you saw the clothes you were suppose to be fit for your position and if you didn't,
you weren't.

No one would admit to not seeing anything in what was being shown to them.

So everyone was afraid of losing their position, or being seen as not being wise, or of the reprisal it would bring to not see the
emperor's new clothes.

So they spent time admiring them to everyone.

Sounds like today.

But God, our Father and the Creator of all things,
said certain things were not for us to be a part of.

In the past we have all done those things that would separate us from God.
and that is why we do not judge those on the outside.

Read the book of Romans, Chapter one and two, in the New Testament for clarity.

But we belong to Jesus Christ, so we don't give ourselves
to be slaves to sin.

Jesus Christ paid a precious price of His own life for us.
He came to give us life and life abundantly. And we follow Him.

And we don't do those things which He clearly tells us not to do.
He is a good Shepherd.

It is not to hate the sinner, as Jesus calls us to love with His love.
We were all sinners.

But we have found freedom in Christ, through forgiveness of our sins, to follow Him. Free from
the slavery of sin we were once bound in.

We don't want to do anything that
would entangle us in sin, again. Or teach anyone else to do so.

We gladly follow Him, even to death if need be.
We now live in our bodies to please the Lord.

If a political power tells us to sin, we know it is not the voice of our Lord,
and we don't follow that voice.

So for anyone to insist that we sin, it is wrong.

If the Lord of all creation tells us something is wrong
and someone in office tells us to do something against what God has said,
there is no debating in our minds as to what we should do.
We follow the Lord.

To speak the truth in love is to say it is wrong, but to know that the Lord
is the judge. We are to love, and not judge those on the outside, but that
is not to not judge the sin on the inside of our Christian walk. God cleanses us of all sin.
And not to partake of it again. For anyone.

We are not called to do what the Lord has said not to do. Nor to teach our children
to do so. So when someone stands outside our door, harassing us to accept their
lifestyle, or threatens our jobs or businesses or lives, insisting we do what is wrong, and against what the Lord has said,
freedom of religion is being trampled on. But our Lord's life was trampled on, before us, and we should not
be surprised or ashamed to follow Him in the same.

Better to follow the Lord in doing what is right than to give in to bullying and do what is against the Lord.
He says clearly not to be afraid of those who can destroy the body, but to fear God Who can destroy both the body and the soul in hell.

Christian brothers and sisters, we are told that to die is gain.
So we need not fear death, bullying nor reprisals if we truly want to follow
Christ who though a lamb, never harming anyone, but going around and doing good,
was put to death, and that for our sins.

The Bible says that persecution for Christ in doing what is right in following Him, will come, but that it is a blessing
when it is done for righteousness sake, to follow Jesus, and so they persecuted the
prophets before us.

He is the Truth, and no lie is in Him. No one should be able to tell anyone that
something is true when it is not true. No matter what political gain it may bring them.

And in the story of the emperor's new clothes, a child finally said that the emperor
had no clothes on when he was openly showing himself and his new clothes.
This is occurring today.

That child is Jesus Christ.

Christ is that child in the story that will simply tell the
truth. He is the truth. And He tells us to tell the truth in love.

The Way the Truth and the Life. He does not deceive. He fully loves
each one no matter where they are at in their life, and died that they might
come to Him and live.

He loves us and we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of
God. He has made a way, (He is the Way) for us to come to Him and be
forgiven of our sins, cleansed and healed and saved and find life and life
abundantly. And live under His banner of love and blessings.

He is the child that speaks up. And says that this is not true.

In the story, when the child said it was not true, that there were no clothes,
it gave others courage to do the same. One at a time, each one
began to say that the emperor was naked. That there were no clothes on
him. That what they were told was not so.

Then the lie lost it's hold.
And was exposed for it's deception. It lost it's power of fear.

Anyone who stands and says what they say is over what the Lord says, is
standing before God and saying they are above Him and He will judge each one
for what they do.

But I thank God for Jesus Christ Who came in the flesh and gave His life for me that
the sins I committed I have forgiveness of and am set free.

Not to be a slave to sin again, which is what we become when we give our bodies over
to sin. Whatever rules in us, is what is our master. But Jesus would not that we have any
other master over our bodies. He came to give us life and life abundantly.
Not to sin, but to live for God.

Amen, Amen and Amen. This is an excellent article! I feel like you have read my mind over the past several months. In fact, I have used the "Emperor's New Clothes" reference myself in several conversations.
