THE GRACE THAT DISTINGUISHES. ARTICLE NO. 1
Grace,it is said to be unmerited favour of God. When you get what you don't deserve.Grace is when God's mercy on you is exceptional and an extra mercy "marginal mercy" is added beyond the normal mercy on every other person,when words or literature cannot explain the "chemistry" or mechanism behind that particular favour,we say it is divine grace .when your kind of favour has a surname of "divine"(divine favour).
Grace is what makes you call easy what others call hard.when God's grace is on you, people can't explain why you are distinct, your success becomes unfathomable. When there is a "super" of God's grace on you,then you just keep succeeding and succeeding while others keep wondering and asking questions.This kind of grace makes you preferred among multitudes(Genesis 6:8). This kind of grace has conditions. The conditions are well spelt out in our manual as Christians(The Bible).
A. "Therefore if any man be in Christ,he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new".(2Conrithians 5:17)accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savour.when you accept Jesus, His grace of salvation is ambiguous, equivocal and it contains other "sub-graces". His grace of salvation is a; saving grace,sustaining grace,sanctifying grace,sufficient grace,strengthening grace,steadfast grace,sober grace and abundant grace.
B. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God,and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you".(Mathew 6:33). Putting God first in everything we do,brings down the abundance of God's grace. When you are already experiencing this level of grace,then you must have been;
C. Saturated and insulated with the word God having in mind that "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth;but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and thou shalt have good success".(Joshua 1:8).
D. "Pray without ceasing"(1Thessalonians 5:17).
E. Live a holy and righteous life."be ye therefore perfect,even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect".(Mathew 5:48).
Finally,the Grace of God or the extent in which God can shower His Grace on us cannot be quantified or even expressed to a limit. It is limitless. It depends on your relationship with Him that's why it is written "draw nigh to God,and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands,ye sinners;and purify your hearts,ye double minded"(James 4:8)..
