trying to reach still empty

In this world of hatred and lies, deceit and betrayal, is there any hope, is there a friend Who could be faithful at all times?

Commonly this is said about all men...

“Their throat is an open tomb;
With their tongues they have practiced deceit”;
“The poison of asps is under their lips”;

Romans 3:13 (NKJV)

and to a great extent we know that this is true, yet our hearts search for a friend Who could be stable, on Whom we can have unwavering faith and trust.

Jesus Christ is the true friend, from the beginning till the end, He is God and there no one so good as Him.

Moses proclaimed this awesome truth through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit which stands true even today..

"Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God." Psalm 90:1-2 (NKJV)

Yes!!! if we make Jesus Christ our true Friend and submit our everything to Him, we will have the eternal joy in our hearts.

The people of the world as such seems puzzled today, they are trying to reach, yet when they come near and embrace what they have found or achieved, soon they realize that they are still empty, still the quest remains.

This search and this quest is for our Creator, our Lord and God,Who died for us on the cross and lives again to give us new hope.

Many have all and do not have Christ and the emptiness of their lives remains, on the other hand there are many who may not have all the pleasures of the world, yet have Christ and they have everything.

That's who we are....

" But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." 1 Peter 2:9-10 (NKJV)

and remaining thus we shall ever be pleasing to the Lord and satisfied with our lives.

God Bless,

Abraham
