Our God is a God Who searches our heart and our thoughts

God is Holy and desires holiness from us, for without holiness, we cannot see God.

God gave the Ten Commandments to His people for them to remain holy and the Lord also gave the law for them to be perfect and He went furthur and laid down His life for us, for the remmision of our sins, to pardon us and clear us of all our guilt and to make us holy, and if we even then do not remain as He wants us to be, then we are working towards our own destruction.

One of the commandments which the Lord gave us is...

" You shall not commit adultery." Exodus 20:14 (NKJV)

which the Lord Jesus rightly explained to us as...

“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart "

Matthew 5:27-28 (NKJV)

Our God is a God Who searches our heart and our thoughts and He will judge us accordingly.

The commandment 'not to committ adultery' is very casually dealt with in today's world, yet God has not compromised with His values and still desires that we walk in the purity of our heart.

The Lord explains to us furthur about the purity of marriage, yet the dreadfulness of adultery.

"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge." Hebrews 13:4 (NKJV)

for this sin is not only found in those who are unmarried, yet also the sin of adultery is breaking happy families and drawing indivuduals and families away from the Lord God.

The only way to win over every kind of evil is to be filled by the Holy Spirit.

God wants us to be perfect in everything and to be like Him, to be holy as He is holy.

God Bless,

Abraham
