When God Is Taking So Long: What To Do

It was really difficult! Ingrid had financially sacrificed for weeks! She knew the "soon coming" decision would be in her favor. Finances would then be available to her. She would no longer how to "worry" about food, bills and responsibilities.

Ingrid remembered when God provided for her needs. Then the Office decided to stop the finances. Ingrid had tried many others to receive income. All doors seemed to be closed. Ingrid felt that her only option was to wait until the Office reconsidered their decision. She had no choice but to "pinch her 'pennies'" until the Office reconvened. Ingrid felt confident. In the past God had never failed her. Also powerful leaders and the news media urged the Office to reconsider their previous decision.

Finally the decision arrived. The decision to reopen the finances was defeated by just one vote. What would Ingrid do now?

The purpose of this article is to help Christians "Stay Strong In The Lord" even when the Storm continues (Matthew 14:20-32; Psalm 69:1-4, 14; Psalm 23:1-6).

Always "Walk In The Spirit" No Matter What The "Stormy Wind" Says (Matthew 14:20-32; Psalm 69:1-4, 14; Psalm 23:1-6; Matthew 6:9-13):

I) You Must Ask God's Holy Spirit To Remove Your "Faithless (Sinful)" Thoughts, Ways & Tendancies. Always Trust In God And His Love For YOU (Proverbs 3:6-9; 1 John 4:8; John 3:16; Hebrews 11:5-6; Galatians 5:1-26; 1 Corinthians 6:9-13; 1 John 2:15-17; Matthew 14:20-32).

II) You Must Ask God's Holy Spirit To Renew Your Human Mind To The Mind Of Jesus Christ (Romans 10:1-12; Philippians 2:1-12; 4 Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, John & The New Testament)

III) You Must Cast Down Any Thing That Opposes Or Disagrees With God's Holy Word (2 Corinthians 10:1-12).

IV) You Must Not Worry. You Must Trust In God's Biblical Word (Promises) And His Love For You. Take All Your Concerns To The Lord In Godly Thanks. God Will Give You His "Peace Of God" (Philippians 4:6-8; Matthew 6:25-34; Proverbs 3:5-7; Isaiah 26:3; Proverbs 29:25; Psalm 23:1-6; Matthew 14:20-34; Psalm 55:22; Matthew 11:28-30).

V) You Must Only Think On What The Holy Spirit Tells You To Think On. These "Spirit" Things Are Listed Here (Philippians 4:6-8).

VI) Ask God's Holy Spirit To Help You Cultivate Fruit Of The Holy Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance (Galatians 5:22-23).

VII) Ask The Holy Spirit To Help You Put On The Whole Armour Of God. With This Armour On And Walking In The Holy Spirit You Can Defeat Satan And This Ungodly World (Ephesians 6:10-18).

VII) To Learn What "Gifts Of The Holy Spirit" God Has Given You Prayerfully Study These Bible Verses (1 Corinthians 12:1-28).

VIII) Learn To Trust & Thank God For Each Day's Provisions. God Promises To Provide Your Daily Needs. Overly Worrying About "Tomorrow" Displeases God (Numbers 16:1-40; Philippians 4:6-8; Matthew 6:25-34; Proverbs 3:5-9; Romans 8:24-32).

Ingrid was offered a "Part Time" position at a grocery store. Ingrid needed a Full Time job. Ingrid also felt it would be wrong to quit the PT job when her FT job arrived. The store would have taken much time to train Ingrid on food preparation. However Ingrid needed income. Due to her financial need, Ingrid decided that she may have to take the Part Time offer trusting in God to bring income making opportunities to her.

Let's Analyze how God's Holy Word & Holy Spirit helps in making such daily decisions:

1) Ask God's Holy Spirit To Help You Make Decisions That Please God And Bless You

2) Ask God's Holy Spirit & Holy Bible To Help You "Cast Down" Any "Anti-God" Ways

3) Daily Thank God For Fulfilling Your Needs. Do Not Focus On What Lacks In Your Life

4) Ask God's Holy Spirit To Give You Wisdom & Peace

5) Ask God's Holy Spirit & Holy Bible To Help You "Walk In The Spirit"

For the past two months Ingrid had completed "tons" of online employment applications. She was totally ready for job interviews and employment(s). Ingrid had reaped "In The Lord" very well (Galatians 6:7).

After Prayerful Reflection Ingrid decided not to take that Part Time job offer. It would be inconsiderate to abruptly quit as soon as a Full Time opportunity arrived elsewhere.

Ingrid decided to fully trust in God who promises to provide financial income opportunities. Humans must prayerfully seek God when tempted with "Quick Fixes". Sarai sinned with the Temptation of "Quick Fix". Sarai didnot trust in God's Promise to Provide. Thus Sarai gave her husband a "Quick Fix". This was a decision that hurt others. It was also a decision that Sarai deeply regretted. King Saul was also guilty of "quick" fixes.

"Walking In The Spirit" is the Wisest thing to do when we patiently "Wait On The Lord".

In my opinion: This is the actual reason why God sends these "long" durations (Psalm 27:14; Psalm 37:24; Proverbs 20:22; Galatians 5:16, 25-26).

Praise God!

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
