Proverbs Chapter 7 Bible Study
This study continues our "Book Of Proverbs" study.
Proverbs 7:1 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.
Once again the "son" is exhorted to keep and regulary pratice God's commandments. We know that Jesus gave Christians a new testament with new Christian commandments. Christians must be careful not to exhort obedience to the "old" testament (letter of the law) (Matthew 26:28; Mark 14:24; Luke 22:20; 2 Corinthians 3:6; Hebrews 9:15; John 15:10-15; John 13:30-35; Romans 10:4; Matthew 5:15-17).
Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.
Christians must make Jesus' commandments the apple of their eye. God will bless them with life for doing so (John 3:16; 1 John 2:15-17).
How God Will Write The Law Of The New Covenant Upon His Servant's Hearts
Proverbs 7:3 Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.
When Christians sincerely repent God will send His Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) (God's Powerful Finger) to write God's commandments upon their hearts (Jeremiah 31:33; Exodus 8:19; Exodus 31:18; Deuteronomy 9:10; Luke 11:20; Galatians 5:1-26).
Proverbs 7:4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:
The Bible defines "wisdom" and "understanding" as Sister and Kinswoman. All Christians must be Spiritually Related to this Woman.
The "Strange" Woman (Spiritual Apostasy (Revelation 17:1-17))
Proverbs 7:5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.
We've described this "strange" flattering woman in our previous "Proverbs" chapter study.
The Window Of God's House (Heaven) Praise God!
Proverbs 7:6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,
Proverbs 7: gives the impression of God watching humans from Heaven's Windows. We must also remember that Sister Wisdom is Heaven's Door and Gate Keeper.
Who Are The "Simple Ones"?
Proverbs 7:7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
Proverbs 7:7 associates "Simple Ones" with the young and youth. These such ones are "void of understanding" due to lack of life's experience.
Let's Study The Bible's Definition Of The Word "Simple":
Psalm 17:7 God's Law will make the "Simple" Wise
Psalm 116:6 When the Simple is brought low God will Preserve them. God is Merciful, Gracious and Good! Praise God!
Psalm 119:130 God's Word will give Light to the Simple. So if you lack in wisdom or understanding ask God. He will give you Wisdom (James 1:5-6).
Proverbs 1:4 There is a time when a Christian must be Subtil like the Serpent. This is when Jesus sends them in like Doves. The Bible teaches us Satan's ways so we can Overcome him (Matthew 10:16; Genesis 3:1; Proverbs 7:10; 1 Peter 5:8-10; Revelation 12:11; Psalm 119:105).
Proverbs 14:18- A Simple person lacks Holy Spirit and Biblical experiences. They inherit folly. A lover of "folly" loves foolishness, immaturity and immorality (pleasure).
Proverbs 21:11 A Simple one is made Wise through Discipline. Thank-you God for Loving Us (Hebrews 12:1-24).
Ezekiel 45:20 God's Simple Servants Are The Foolish Ones. Jesus Will Leave Them Behind And God's Great Tribulation Will Reconcile Them (Matthew 25:1-12; Matthew 24:30-40; Romans 16:18-19, Isaiah 45:6-7).
Proverbs 7:8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,
Proverbs 7:8 should warn Christians not to go near the way (or house) of the ungodly. Christians should let God's Word lead them and no other source (Psalm 119:105; Matthew 25:1-12; Matthew 7:13-29).
The Dark Night Evening
Proverbs 7:9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:
What Do We Know About The Twilight?
The Bible's "Twilight" Prophetically Points To The Rapture (Escaping, Fleeing) When God Sends His Bear(s) To Earth To Begin The Great Tribulation (1 Samuel 30:17; 2 Kings 7:5; 2 Kings 7:7; Job 3:9; Job 24:15; Proverbs 7:9; Ezekiel 12:6-7, 12; Matthew 24:112-24).
What Do We Know About The Evening (Eve), Black Darkness:
Eve is the Mother of All Living. Satan Possessed Judas In The Night As Judas Betrayed Jesus Christ. Nicodemus came to Jesus in the Night as they talk about the Mother's Womb (Belly). Darkness Came To Jesus At The Cross (6th Hour). The Old Testament God Dwelled In Darkness. God Creates Both Darkness And Light (Genesis 3:20; John 13:20-32; John 3:1-14; Luke 23:43-46; Exodus 20:21; Deuteronomy 5:20-32; Joel 2:1-12; 1 Kings 8:8-16; Isaiah 45:6-7).
The Subtil Woman
Proverbs 7:10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.
Proverbs 7:10 Prophetically points to Apostate Religion. She appeases the flesh. Those who don't want to "crucify" the flesh for Jesus Christ will be tempted by the Subtil (Satanic) Woman (Matthew 16:11-28; Revelation 17:10-17; Matthew 4:1-11; Genesis 3:1-20; Matthew 25:1-12; Revelation 17:1-17).
The "Feet" Of The Bible
Proverbs 7:11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:
As you know "Linen" is the Garment of God's Priests. God's Priests could be found in the "House Of God". This was Solomon's Temple. In Earlier times this "House" was the Tabernacle and the "Tent Of Meeting" (Exodus 28:1-30; Revelation 17:1-17; 1 Kings 8:8-16; Matthew 17:1-12; Revelation 21:1-12).
The Bible's Feet Symbolize God's Priestly Class. This Apostate Religion Has Abandoned The Integrity Of God's Priestly Class. She Is A Spiritual Harlot (Whore) (John 13:1-20; Isaiah 66:1; Revelation 17:1-17).
An inexperienced man may be attracted to a loud and stubborn woman. Some might remember how the characters played by Marilyn Monroe really "shook" the world.
Why Is This Harlot "Without"?
Proverbs 7:12 Now is shewithout, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)
This Harlot Will Not Be Allowed To Rapture Into Heaven. She Will Be Left Behind (Without) To Be Judged In God's Court Of Great Tribulation (Time Of Trouble) (Matthew 25:1-12; Revelation 11:1-8; Matthew 24:36-40; Matthew 24:15-22).
These Streets Prophetically Point To Planet Earth During The Great Tribulation When God's Angelic Chariots Rage Through (Pass Through) In Judgment (Proverbs 7:8; Revelation 7:1; Matthew 24:29-34; Lamentations 2:11-12, 21; Lamentations 4:5-18; Revelation 9:1-10; Revelation 12:14; Daniel 11:40-44; Psalm 104:1-5).
The Kiss Of Betrayal And Her Stubborness
Proverbs 7:13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,
The Bible Word "Impudent" Means "Stubborn". The Apostate Is Set In Their Ways. They Won't Repent And Obey The Lord (Ezekiel 2:4; Ezekiel 3:7).
Proverbs 7:14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows. Proverbs 7:15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
Proverbs 7:14-15 Prophetically Points To The "Day" Of The Lord When Jesus Comes To "Find" Those Who Are Spiritually Lost. During The Great Tribulation Jesus (God's Face) Will Force Those "Left Behind" To Repent And Say, "Blessed Is He Who Comes In The Name Of The Lord" (Matthew 23:37-39).
Egypt And The Great Tribulation (Time Of Trouble)
Proverbs 7:16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. Proverbs 7:17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
Bed- Prophetically Points To God's Sabbath Rest Which Is Heaven (Hebrews 3:1-15).
Works- Works Of The Law Will Prevent Persons From Entering Heaven. The Great Tribulation Will Burn These Fleshly Works Of Self Righteousness From God's "Left Behind" Saints (2 Peter 3:1-18; Revelation 17:1-17; Galatians 2:16; Galatians 5:19).
Linen- As we've Biblically proved above the Bible's "Linen" points to God's Priestly class. These priests can be Priests, Levites or Ethiopians (Numbers 12:1-16; Acts 8:1-50).
Egypt- Yes. Leviathan The Dragon Serpent Beast is Pharaoh Of Egypt (Ezekiel 29:3; Psalm 104:6, 24-27; Revelation 13:1-12; Revelation 12:1-17).
When Spiritually Considering Proverbs 7:16 and Proverbs 31:22 we learn that the "Coverings" of tapestry is Self Righteousness that Opposes God's Merciful Grace (Jesus). Adam and Eve also tried to "sew (tape)" clothes for themselves. I think they used "figs". You must accet JESUS as LORD and SAVIOUR. There Is no other WAY (1 John 1:7-10; Genesis 3:1-20; John 14:6-8).
The LOVE Of God's Angels
Proverbs 7:18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.
Yes! We must all Enter The Morning Of Our Risen Saviour, Jesus! Otherwise God's Grace Will Not Be Extended To Us (Mark 16:1-2; Matthew 28:1-5; Malachi 4:1-6).
Heaven's Long Journey
Proverbs 7:19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:
During The Great Tribulation God's Angels Will Return From Their Long Journey (Heaven) (Acts 1:6-15; Matthew 24:29-34; Matthew 13:41-43; Revelation 7:1).
As Soon As These "Simple (Foolish)" Saints Repent: God Can Finally Pronounce "Good" (Matthew 23:37-39; Matthew 25:1-12; Genesis 1:4).
The Infamous "Bag Of Money"
Proverbs 7:20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.
During The "Appointed Time Of The Gentiles (Nations)" Jesus Angelic Chariots Will Invade Planet Earth. This Is Last Day And The "Time Of The End" (Luke 21:20-36; Revelation 14:1-20; John 13:20-30).
All will enter the Approval Of God's House (Home) (Heavenly Zion-Jerusalem Above) During That "Day" (Hebrews 12:22; Galatians 4:24-26; Revelation 21:1-5).
Proverbs 7:21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. Proverbs 7:22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;
The Psalms Teaches That An Ox (Bull) Must Be Sacrificed Before One Can Enter God's House. This Sacrifice Is The Beast's Head Wound. This will begin the Great Tribulation (Revelation 13:1-12; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17).
The Spiritual "Fools" Shall Be Corrected At That Time (Matthew 25:1-12).
The "Stocks" Prophetically Point To The Beast's Captivity Of The Saints (Revelation 13:10-12; Daniel 7:5, 25).
Straight Way- Only Then Will These "Simple" Apostates Be Made "Straight" In The Way Of Jesus Christ (John 14:6-8).
The Birds (Fowls) And The Great Tribulation (Revelation 19:10-21)
Proverbs 7:23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.
To Know Jesus Is To Be Married To Him (Genesis 2:20-24; Matthew 25:1-12).
To "Know Not" Denotes Those Whom Jesus Leaves Behind During The Rapture (Matthew 7:13-29; Matthew 25:1-12).
The Snare Is The "Trap" Of The Beast's Captivity (Revelation 13:10-12; Daniel 7:5, 25).
The Hastening (Speeding) Bird (Fowls) Is Earth's Arrival Of Jesus' Angels For Judgment (Revelation 18:1-26; Revelation 19:10-21; Matthew 24:29-34; Matthew 13:41-43; Revelation 7:1).
Encouragement And Warnings Given To God's Christians
Proverbs 7:24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Proverbs 7:25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. Proverbs 7:26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Proverbs 7:27 Her house isthe way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
Do Not Be Misled Christians. God Will Spit All Luke Warm And Apostate "Christians" Out Of His Mouth. These Will Be Judged Through The Fiery (Hell) Described Here In.
